Energy Audit SAGE Facilities will address energy conservation through an evaluation of the building envelope, lighting and mechanical systems of your existing facility. The building’s energy profile is compared to similar building types to determine how the facility compares to its peers. Waste Audit After a complete analysis of a client’s current waste stream and recycling practices, we will work with management to institute a waste management plan to establish a framework of policies and procedures to divert waste from landfills. Operations and Management Standards (O&M) Working in concert with facilities management, we will review existing standards, building controls, and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure that best practices are utilized. We will detail funding opportunities that will maximize your investment by taking advantage of the grants, rebates, accelerated depreciation schedules and specialized loans that are available. LEED & Energy Star Certification SAGE Facilities will provide our clients with the blueprint to become Energy Star or LEED certified. Through analysis of the existing facility, we provide the documentation and recommendations required to obtain third party recognition of your facility’s energy efficiency. Education A successful sustainable program requires the willing commitment of the entire staff. SAGE Facilities will work to educate all members whether it is to teach the janitorial staff environmentally safe cleaning techniques or to inform employees of effective ways to reduce their waste stream.
